Is Teachino GDPR-compliant?
Yes. Teachino is GDPR-compliant and can be used in schools with confidence.
Personal data never leaves the EU. Data is never used for AI training, and for real student data we also sign an agreement with your school.
Do I need any prior AI knowledge?
No. You don’t need to know anything about AI or have any experience with it. Our AI assistant is designed so you can simply talk or write to it, just as you would with a colleague. You don’t need complicated prompts, because the assistant already knows the context of your teaching.
Does the AI make mistakes?
Yes, AI can make mistakes – ours included. That’s why in Teachino it only ever makes suggestions, and teachers decide what actually gets used.
We also continuously review and improve the quality of the results together with the University of Teacher Education Salzburg (PH Salzburg). In addition, we use models that think first and check their own work before answering. Final approval always remains with the teacher.
How does the free trial work and what’s included?
When you sign up for Teachino, you can try all features for 7 days to see whether Teachino is right for you. No credit card, no upfront payment and no hidden costs.
After 7 days, access to some features (such as AI-powered tools and sharing with students) is restricted. All your materials and data are fully preserved.
If you decide Teachino is right for you, you can simply upgrade to a paid license. Until then, it costs you nothing at all!
Can I cancel at any time?
You can cancel your subscription at any time. The cancellation takes effect at the end of your chosen term. For example, if you have an annual subscription, it ends once that year is over.
How is Teachino different from ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is a general-purpose assistant; Teachino is built for teaching. With ChatGPT, you start from scratch every time: describe the class, set the level, rework the results. The AI assistant in Teachino already knows your teaching. It knows what the class did last and where individual students stand. You don’t need any prior AI knowledge: just say or type what you need.
Teachino also offers AI support for students. While ChatGPT simply hands your students the answers without them learning anything, in Teachino they get feedback and hints that help them step by step instead of giving away the solution. The thinking stays with the students, even when they study at home. You can see the AI conversations and spot who is struggling where. With ChatGPT, that remains invisible.
What about my existing materials?
You can easily upload your existing materials to Teachino or even have them digitized. Automatically turn paper-based tasks into interactive assignments that your students can complete on digital devices. Of course, you can always download or print these materials again.
Do my students need devices?
Teachino is first and foremost your tool as a teacher. Planning, materials and organization work even if your class doesn’t use devices. You can print everything, and interactive assignments are an option, not a must. You decide how much screen time makes sense.
Can Teachino be used by entire schools?
